Ruby et Violette
Who doesn’t love cookies? Personally, I am hoping the cookie craze overpowers the cupcake craze in NYC. One of my favorite spots for cookies is Ruby et Violette on 50th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues. They serve homemade ice cream with their cookie dough too!
The flavors change seasonally and daily so you can never be sure the one you want will be there, but you can be sure that it will have chocolate in it! All of their cookies have at least one kind of chocolate (white, dark or milk). The flavors are extremely original. I like the red velvet, but I love the entire line of Seduction cookies. My only complaint is they are a little on the pricey side, but they often have a 3 for $6 special which is affordable.
You should go early in the day because they often sell out of flavors and sometimes of all the cookies before closing time. Also, they are closed on Sunday and Monday, so plan your cookie cravings around the rest of the week!
