Body Scrub and Massage at Faina European Day Spa
It is every gal’s favorite time of year… SPA WEEK! All around the city you can find great deals on all sorts of treatments and massages. Some super fabulous spas even extend the hours of spa week, making it a virtual spa month!
I partook of the special at Faina European Day Spa yesterday and got a thirty minute body scrub followed by a thirty minute massage for only $50! It was a super relaxing way to spend a Sunday. Faina was an interesting and enjoyable spa experience. They were more than happy to try to fit me in when I called to request a time on Sunday. It is located on the fourth floor of what seemed to be an apartment building, so finding the spa was a little challenge. Once I was in, however, I was calmed with soothing music and cold water to sip.
One lovely professional did both the scrub and massage and she did a great job. I had never had a scrub before a massage before and I found it really calmed me and prepared me for the massage bliss that followed. They had a hot steam shower where I rinsed off after the scrub, although I wish the steam had been more prevalent. The masseuse focused entirely on my back for the entire half hour, which I loved. I am looking forward to trying some other services this week and I hope they will be as fabulous as the great treatment at Faina!
