Sheryl Crow at Hammerstein Ballroom
Last night I was lucky enough to get to see the beautiful Sheryl Crow at the Hammerstein Ballroom. This was a benefit concert that supported The Nature Conservancy and my fabulous friend Linda scored us General Admission Tickets. (Yay Linda!)
This was my first time at the Hammerstein Ballroom and I was interested to see how it was set up. For this show the floor was standing room. There was plenty of space but the crowds were towards the front and I was only a few feet away from Sheryl and her band. There were three tiers behind the giant floor. The tiers had seating but they were much farther back from the stage. If your feet can bear it, I would definitely go for the standing room seats.
This was the second time I had seen Sheryl live and she was phenomenal. She did a lot of her hits and favorites. She looked amazing and seemed seemed to be having a great time talking about the corns on her feet in between sets. The crowd fed off her energy and no one wanted her to leave the stage. My favorite number was Soak Up the Sun, but all of them were amazing. I am definitely looking forward to Sheryl’s next album, but for now, I will keep her old ones on repeat.
