Shecky’s Girls Night Out
A friend of mine and I got tickets to Shecky’s shopping extravaganza. For the cost of a ticket you can walk around the Puck Building in Soho sipping free drinks and shopping. It is an interesting experience. I had been to this night once before and I was hoping for different things this time and I felt like the booths were similar to when I went last year.
The booths sell jewelery, clothes, and other accessories. According to Shecky’s the prices are lower than they are in stores, but most of the items were still pretty pricey. You get a gift bag with your ticket. If you actually plan on going to this event I would recommend picking up the gift bag right before you are ready to go. It is usually pretty heavy and you will probably get tired lugging it around. The gift bag had interesting beauty samples. While this is a fun experience to check out, once you have done it once you probably don’t need to try it again.
