Wicked on Broadway
I saw Wicked for the first time this week. I was psyched to finally get to see the show that I have been hearing so many great reviews about. I have tried to get the cheap rush seats many times and have failed. Last night I sat in the front row of the balcony for $60 a ticket. A friend of mine got a coupon meant for friends of the cast and we took advantage of it.
The show was phenomenal, especially the end of Act One. If you are looking to see a true Broadway play with a huge set and amazing cast and lighting that is out of this world then this is the one to see. I would recommend it if you have visitors from out of town who are looking for a real Broadway experience. Of course, I would also take them to the small time theaters doing an up and coming show so that they can see both ends of the spectrum. I don’t expect Wicked will be closing any time soon, so I think you have some time to save up your cash and buy a ticket.
